Today, as we celebrate our 10^th Anniversary, my list of 10 lessons from my 10 years as pastor of CrossPointe Church comes to an end. This last one is really short and simple…

Lesson #10: God’s timing is perfect.

As I look back at the history of CrossPointe Church, it is abundantly evident. From the unexpected events of 2009 that led to our merger to the sell of our property in 2017, none of the major events that have shaped CrossPointe have happened in the timing that we planned or even hoped for. Yet, things have gone according to His plan. It’s difficult to wait when I feel like He’s late, and it can be stressful when I feel like He’s early.  What I’ve learned time and time again, usually well after the fact, is that God is always right on time. I know it sounds cliché, but when you get to experience it on the scale I have, it becomes a foundation of strength and hope to stand on.   

Short and simple! That wraps us the 10 lessons from 10 years at CrossPointe.  There have been many more lessons over the years, and I’m sure there will be plenty more to come.
